There’s two places where you can get a break from the crowds, located right across the street from the Moscone Center.

What’s Happening in Services Quoting & Revenue Forecasting

Siloed Services Quoting Impedes Accurate Forecasting

Lots of services organizations are taking a hard look at their services quoting processes and data. Most are struggling with estimation data and individual quotes stuck in spreadsheets disconnected from SOWs and approvals. 

This is causing pain when it comes to handing off what was sold to the project delivery team and making it nearly impossible to forecast services revenue. Resource forecasting is challenging when the resource estimation data is isolated in a spreadsheet. Many are looking to services quoting to solve this gap. PSQuote and other apps have popped up over the last few years helping organizations get their data on platform, streamline processes and provide greater visibility into data.

Revenue Lifecycle Management (RLM)

We’re seeing RevOps discussions increase. More companies are taking a close look at revenue operations to transform revenue management. Revenue management is being more tightly woven into the overall planning and tracking of sales and delivery. Rightly so.

At the same time, it’s worth noting that Salesforce reinvented the revenue cloud –announcing Revenue Lifecycle Management in Spring ’24– calling it “the revenue revolution”. We expect to hear more and more about RLM at Dreamforce and in the coming months.
